Single Sensors

RG-103 A single sensor chip generally  has only one type of measurement device.  For example, the WISA MOD II shown above can measure an acceleration component normal to its  plane.  It is insensitive to any acceleration that lies in a plane perpendicular to its input axis.  Moreover, it is designed to unaffected by variations in temperature, random vibration, or angular motion etc.  A list of Waddan's single sensor devices is provided in the right hand columns along with the processing technologies employed to fabricate them.

Integrated Sensor

RG-103 An integrated sensor incorporates more than one single sensor devices in one chip. For example, the device shown includes one accelerometer, one pressure sensor, three strain gages as rosette and a temp sensor. It can be cemented on a surface  location 2mmX2mm, and provide these seven measurements of that location.   This device was used in ANDAS, wherein the associated electronics components are mounted on one face of a flexible PCB so that it can be cemented  along with the integrated sensor on a curved surface.  A list of Waddan's integrated sensor devices is provided in the right hand columns along with the processing technologies employed to fabricate them.
